Community is about people. Community is about character. Community is about human beings living as one, but have we ever thought of dogs as such being part of our community? Growing up watching all of these dog films both on TV and the big screen such as 101 Dalmatians, Air Bud and Homeward Bound made me a huge fur fan, by that I meant I'm a dog person. Names like Beethoven, Benji and Lassie are unforgettable to me. I really like dogs and I love them.. but what struck me the most was when I saw Hachi: A Dog's Tale, back in 2009, couple of years after one of the world's major OEM launched it's first smartphone. A S-M-A-R-T-P-H-O-N-E has to be capable, right? Well, it is capable of doing things for us.. humans, but what about animals? So it got me into thinking.. what if a smartphone can be just as smart as our beloved fur babies? What if a smartphone can be with our dogs? What if our pets can use a smartphone themselves? Wouldn't that be great!? A smartphone for dogs. A smartphone that's beyond Artificial Intelligence since it can communicate and understand not just humans but also animals. Imagine your pet calling you and their smartphones will dramatically interpret what they want or what they need. Imagine your dog knowing where you are, what you're going through at the moment and vice versa. I bet Hachiko could've run just as fast as The Flash and Quicksilver combined to save his master. The sad reality that dogs and other animals have to face each day because they don't have a voice to speak up that they ought to be part of our community. Let's love them, let's take care of them and let them be part of our community. Huawei's tagline is 'Make It Possible'. I'm certain that sometime in the near future that Huawei will indeed make things possible for animals just as what they did for humans. Community is not just about humans anymore. Humans and Animals living as one is a Future FURfect Community.
