Biking has always been the favorite activity in our family which was initiated by my father. It started as just his way to commute in the 70's that eventually evolved into a hobby which my siblings and I enjoy doing with him. Amazing how we exercise and see more places through biking while spending time with our father at the same time! I imagined an ideal version of technological future in transportation using the bicycle as I believe that it is the best suited for the challenges the future holds. It is easy to build and to repair and it doesn't pollute the city environments. It is independent of fossil, gas and other energy sources compared with other means of transportation that requires those sources. Cycling is also a best exercise in a busy workday. In addition, bicycles has far fewer serious accidents than cars. Through the years, bicycle has been much improved with the use of stronger and lighter materials like aluminum and titanium steel. The design has been improved through computer-assisted analysis. In the near future, we will have an ultralight bicycles made from carbon nanotubes. With the help of technology, we can have built-in electronics that we can attach to our bicycles that can show us the fastest and safest route and warn of possible rain showers or strong headwinds. We can also wear smartwatches like the Huawei Smartwatch 2 that can have our trail mapped via GPS, heart rate monitoring, real-time Guidance, workout data report and offline music. I just hope that the government will invest for roads or part of the highways that will be only designated to bikers for our safety. It will be an amazing experience to travel with my dad if this will happen as we can see more places without worrying for our safety. I am going to share the Huawei Smartwatch 2 to him if I win to enjoy it and be a partner for his everyday cycling just as when he has given me the opportunity to enjoy biking. Best of both worlds, indeed!
